Dr Joy Garza, PT DPT

Joy , a Lake County native, joined the Mount Dora Physical Therapy Specialists team in April. Not only is she passionate about her profession, but also about helping serve the community which helped mold her. She started her educational adventure with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Central Florida. In 2005, she became a board certified Physical Therapy Assistant and immediately began mentoring in the specialization of pelvic floor rehabilitation. Shortly after embarking on this rewarding journey, she further quenched her knowledge at the University of Saint Augustine, where she became a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Now seasoned with 8 years of experience treating pelvic floor dysfunction, she continues to improve qualities of life for those who suffer from pelvic pain and incontinence.


My childhood ambition was…to become a famous author. When I was 6 years old, I woke up one morning and wrote a children’s book called, “ The Little Rabbit Named Coco”. My dad had it copyrighted. I was on top of the moon!

My idea vacation spot is…. Marathon Key, FL

People would be surprised to know…I love to bass fish

What’s on my Ipod…I don’t own an I pod. It takes too much time to download songs. I love PANDORA! I have an affinity to music and listen to it all!

A Transforming experience was…I have a 5 year old son, and an 8 year old daughter. They transform my life on a daily basis. They make me grow in ways I never thought possible. They have truly brought me back to the love for simplicity and have taught me the true meaning of unconditional love.

Brandy Feagan

Brandy has been with Mount Dora Physical Therapy Specialists since June 2013. She is a local girl, born and raised in Umatilla. After graduating from Umatilla High School, she went on to the University of Florida where she graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology; Specialization in Athletic Training. Brandy splits her day with us and Mount Dora High School where she is the Head Athletic Trainer. Brandy now lives in Eustis with her husband, Seth.


My childhood ambition was…. to be an Orthopedic Surgeon

My favorite food is…. ALL food. I consider myself to be a bit of a “foodie”

My ideal vacation spot is…. any new adventure.

Stephanie Bell

Stephanie has been with Mount Dora Physical Therapy Specialists since June of 2015. She and her family are new to the area, moving here from Ewing, New Jersey. A graduate of Purdue University with an emphasis in Communications, Stephanie is passionate about working directly with people in her new community, and helping to serve the continued growth of Mount Dora Physical Therapy Specialists in any way she can. Stephanie lives in Mount Dora with her husband, Jeremy, and their three sons, Caden, Logan and Ryan. Please stop by the clinic sometime to say hello to Stephanie and welcome her to the area!
